Renata Poljak is een beeldend kunstenaar uit Kroatië die werkt met film, video, fotografie, collage, tekenkunst, neon, geluid en multimedia-installaties, diep geïnspireerd door haar roots en uitgebreide internationale achtergrond. Ze maakt gebruik van narratieve, poëtische ambiguïteit en gelaagde visuele storytelling, vaak gecentreerd rond motieven van de zee en eilanden, om meeslepende, filmische ervaringen op te roepen. Haar techniek verweeft vakkundig herinnering, verlangen en aanwezigheid binnen open, multisensorische omgevingen.
