Robert Nizamov werd geboren in 1970 in Kazan. Hij studeerde aan de Kazan Kunstacademie, vernoemd naar NI Feshin, en vervolgens aan het Soerikov Kunstinstituut in Moskou, waar hij zich specialiseerde in monumentale schilderkunst onder leiding van EN Maksimov. Gedurende deze jaren werkte hij aan grootschalige projecten en verkende hij de expressieve mogelijkheden van vorm, kleur en compositie.
Sinds 1987 neemt Nizamov deel aan tentoonstellingen van de Unie van Kunstenaars van de Republiek Tatarstan. Hij begon ook te werken aan monumentale muurschilderingen in Tatarstan en Tsjoevasjië, en later in Moskou en andere steden.
In 2001 sloot hij zich aan bij de Moskouse Kunstenaarsbond. Gedurende zijn hele carrière combineerde hij muurschilderingen met tentoonstellingen, waarbij hij voortdurend nieuwe technieken en artistieke benaderingen onderzocht.
