Kim Seung Hwan is een opkomende schilder uit Zuid-Korea wiens werk te zien was in solotentoonstellingen in zijn thuisland en op kunstbeurzen. Met levendige kleuren, textuur en licht schildert hij portretten van beroemdheden, iconen en alledaagse routines in de stijl van fotorealisme. Door zijn werk heeft hij een scherp waarnemingsvermogen ontwikkeld voor de wereld om hem heen en van zichzelf.
