Su Hyun Kim is een Zuid-Koreaanse schilder die zowel nationaal als in China en de Verenigde Staten heeft geëxposeerd. Ze werd kunstenaar om de wereld te helpen door 'mystieke waarheden te onthullen'. Kim's schilderijen combineren fotografie en illusie op unieke manieren, schommelend tussen abstractie en realisme. Haar composities zijn getuige van persoonlijke verhalen, waarbij individuen worden afgeschilderd als universele archetypen die tegelijkertijd eenvoudig en complex zijn, zoals we allemaal zijn. Ze maakt gebruik van olieverf en aquarellen op canvas.
