Over dit kunstwerk
This image captures the Anteater Nebula (NGC 6726) in the constellation Corona Australis, a region rich in reflection nebulae, dark dust clouds, and active star formation.
The artwork was created from four high‑resolution panels, recorded with a technical camera during numerous remote imaging sessions in Chile. More than 60 hours of exposure time were required to reveal the faint structures and subtle interactions between light and interstellar matter.…
The composition reflects a fascination with the hidden architecture of the cosmos: illuminated dust, obscured starlight, and the intricate complexity of star‑forming regions. Each panel was carefully calibrated and integrated to preserve scientific accuracy while shaping a coherent visual narrative.
This piece is part of an ongoing exploration of deep‑sky structures, where precision imaging and aesthetic refinement come together to offer viewers a closer, more intimate encounter with the universe.
