Ilona Hendriks is een kunstenares gevestigd in Nederland met exposities in verschillende galeries in Europa. Met beweging als haar belangrijkste inspiratiebron maakt ze semi-abstracte, expressieve en gedurfde schilderijen met een combinatie van dikke, gestructureerde streken en zachte verfstromen. Ze gebruikt "het moment" #painthappens en vertrouwt op het proces. Veel interpenetrerende lagen om het gewenste effect te bereiken met levendige kleuren. In haar serie "woman power" gebruikt Ilona een schildermethode waarbij abstractie en figuratieve beelden worden gecombineerd en elkaars effect versterken. Ze gebruikt premium acrylverf in combinatie met dik medium & zand op linnen doek.
