Over dit kunstwerk
A scaffolding in the Dutch city The Hague was the starting point for this composition. Even at the moment when I took the original photo I thought of constructing this castle of openness. I like to see it as a metaphore for freedom and creativity.
This is a ready to hang artwork. It is a photographic print on high quality paper mounted behind plexiglass (Diasec) in museum quality finish. The plexiglass provides remarkable depth and brilliance to… the art work. For extra stability it has an aluminum Dibond backpanel. It comes with an elegant thin wooden edge frame that sets the composition just a little bit more apart from its surroundings. Large size limited edition of 5, personally signed and certified.
Note to the dimensions:
the artwork itself is 47.2 x 47.2 inches (120 x 120 cm)
Together with the frame, the outside dimensions are 48.4 x 48.4 inches (123 x 123 cm).
Other sizes:
Medium size: 70 x 70 cm (print behind plexiglass)
Small size: 45 x 45 cm (print on paper)
