My artistic work always focuses on the intermedial production processes with their investigations, trials, errors, and repetitions—detached from a concrete result. Many small decisions regarding materials, tools, and their application enable transformations that open up a space for experience and understanding that has become essential to me. This space allows me to be mindful and clear in the here and now, to feel the interplay of control and letting go, and to experience an inner form of freedom. My love for the Baltic Sea led me to marine conservation, which I address and support in my artistic work.
