Maria Villioti is an award-winning realist artist whose work redefines the boundaries of dry media. Based in Athens, Greece, she specializes in hyper-realistic portraiture and urban landscapes using colored pencils, graphite, and pastels. Her artistic journey is marked by a meticulous devotion to detail, capturing the interplay of light and texture with surgical precision.
As a Gold Signature Member of the UKCPS and a member of the CPSA and the International Guild of Realism (IGOR), Maria has established herself as a leading figure in the international colored pencil community. Her work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, earning her numerous accolades, including the Exceptional Merit Award at the CPSA 30th Annual International Exhibition.
Beyond her studio practice, Maria is a dedicated educator, sharing her mastery of pencil techniques through workshops.
