I am an artist, graphic, and media designer. I studied at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, Cairo, earned my doctorate from Bauhaus University Weimar, and completed a guest study in Graphic and Video Art at HGB Leipzig. From 2003 to 2015, I was Chair of Art and Design at Helwan University before settling in Leipzig.
My work reflects the experience of two cultures, exploring artistic perspectives on past and present, reality, and human existence. My figurative paintings blend complex themes with an expressive visual language.
In my dissertation, *Visual Expression, Originality, and Techniques of Viewing*, I analyzed art-technology interactions from the 19th to 21st century.
I see art as social dialogue. Since the 2011 Egyptian revolution, I have been committed to democratic values. For me, the Arab Spring remains not just history but a living vision.
