Adélaïde Feriot works in painting, sculpture, and performance. She holds degrees in Visual Arts from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon (ENSBA) and the Birmingham School of Fine Arts (Birmingham City University), and in Textile Design from the Olivier de Serres School (ENSAAMA). She has participated in group exhibitions in France and internationally. She has recently exhibited at the Fondation Thalie (Brussels), the Fondation Bally (Lugano), the Centre Pompidou MAM (Paris), the Palais de Tokyo (Paris), the Artopia Gallery (Milan), the Pernod Ricard Corporate Foundation (Paris), the IAC Institute of Contemporary Art (Villeurbanne), and the Kunstwerk Carlshütte (Büdelsdorf).
At the heart of natural and urban worlds, Adélaïde Feriot creates works like vials of impressions. Bringing narrative figuration to the threshold of abstraction, the artist offers a poetic and visual interpretation of our contemporary relationship with the living.
