Alessandro Gozzuti

My artistic research arises from the encounter between painting and sculpture and focuses on the transformation of represented space into real space.

Starting from painted perspectives, architectural fragments, and compositional structures, I extract elements from the image to reconstruct them as three-dimensional extensions. In this process, the frame loses its traditional function as a boundary and becomes an integral part of the work, following, interpreting, and amplifying the painting's perspectival dynamics.

Vanishing lines, volumes, and architectural details emerge from the surface and develop in space, creating a continuous dialogue between illusion and matter, between image and object.

Through the fusion of painting, bas-relief, and sculpture, my work explores the boundary between representation and physical reality, creating hybrid works that invite the viewer to experience the image as a concrete spatial presence.
