Claire Biette feels that each canvas is a miracle, a ‘bunch of imperfections that ends up finding life’. The French painter’s quest for conveying beauty, in all its faults, is translated through her brilliantly colored abstract works. Biette’s creative process begins with a sketch in order to define the subject and find harmony within the lines. The material animates the canvas, giving it movement, while the color harmonies guide the viewer.
