I’m Evgenia Makarova, a contemporary abstract artist based in Aylesbury, United Kingdom. My paintings explore the dialogue between colour, gesture, and texture — merging expressive spontaneity with minimalist precision. Through abstraction, I seek to capture emotional states that shift between stillness and movement, balance and intensity.
My paintings have been exhibited internationally, including in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, England, Venezuela, and Russia. They’ve been featured in publications such as Afisha London, House & Garden, Salt ’n’ Sauce Magazine, and Albe Art Magazine. My works are held in private collections across Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA.
