Castañón is an experienced Mexican artist whose work has been widely exhibited internationally. A surrealist figurative painter, he is influenced by Mexican artists Siqueiros and Varo, and appreciates how O’Keeffe opened his eyes to the poetry of life’s details. Through his expansive murals, perspective-bending style and technical precision, Castañón brings us moving aesthetic moments.
