Every stroke I make is a gateway to childhood, that fragile territory where everything seemed possible. My work explores those forgotten rituals—the embrace of a cuddly toy, bursting laughter, invented play—universal moments that awaken the inner child buried within each of us. Through acrylic and ink, I seek to freeze raw emotion, to capture that innocence that is overwhelming because it escapes us with age. My portraits are not just faces: they are mirrors where each of us finds an intimate memory, a scent of tenderness, a bittersweet nostalgia. It is not art that matters to me, but the emotional shock, that thrill that connects the viewer to themselves. If my works are touching, it is because they remind us that we were all children once upon a time—and that part of us is still waiting to be embraced.
