Francesco Majo is an Italian visual artist working at the intersection of photography and cinematic staging. His practice constructs carefully composed scenes where animals, objects, and human gestures become metaphors for contemporary life.
Blending irony with introspection, his work explores themes of identity, consumption, and social behavior through symbolic, often surreal narratives. Drawing from a visual language influenced by film and performance, each image functions as a suspended moment — both theatrical and deeply human, exploring human behavior through constructed, symbolic imagery. I use staged photography as a tool to translate abstract concepts. His projects have been recognized in international film festivals, reinforcing a practice that moves fluidly between still and moving image.
Working primarily in limited editions of 10, Majo creates collectible photographic works that invite reflection while remaining visually immediate and accessible.
