Jose Luis Benitez Segura

An architect by training and a painter by vocation, his work explores Mediterranean light through a gestural, direct, and expressive language. His technique fuses expressionism, genre painting, and abstract figuration, where colors and forms emerge spontaneously, overlapping in layers that create visual and conceptual depth. His works capture light, emotion, and fleeting moments, inviting us to pause, observe calmly, and discover the poetry that exists in small details and in the passage of time.
