American artist Julia Bright has always been fascinated by classical art, the use of light and shadow to draw the viewers attention to important details in a painting. Painting in the Alla Prima style and utilising materials based on 17th century recipes Julia's pieces are vivid and emotive, capturing the essence and power of her subjects.
