Krisztián Tejfel

Tejfel’s works are the results of deep, internal research and self-reflective imprints. These are processes in which imperfection holds just as much significance as the ongoing need for shaping and refinement — all reflecting a constant pursuit of an outcome that feels authentic and true. His painting is significantly influenced by the possibility of randomness, which, however, remains in constant interaction with the internal processes, thoughts, and tensions that shape the work. His decisions are generally not based on pre-formulated concepts but are made during the act of painting, in the moment, responding to situations and challenges that arise in the course of creation. One of the key sources of inspiration in his practice is nature: its continuous presence, its influence on human existence, and the emotional and intellectual resonances that emerge from this relationship and become embedded in his artistic thinking.
