Liudmyla Levitas

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1973, Levitas is a contemporary abstract expressionist whose work explores the intersection of emotion, memory, and place.
Working through abstraction, the artist creates visual environments where color, texture, and gesture become carriers of emotional experience.
Rather than depicting the visible world, Levitas seeks to reveal
the invisible—those fleeting sensations, memories, and inner states that exist beyond language.

The artist's practice has evolved from the universal and introspective themes of the early works created in 2017 toward a deeper engagement with landscape, cultural identity, and human connection.
