Magdy El Kafrawy is an artist based in Egypt whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Bahrain, Oman, India, Italy, and Kuwait. His works explore the concept of the soul, as he believes that it is the invisible and true engine that "drives every appearance and expresses in a clear language all of the silences." For El Kafrawy, the best manner through which to describe the soul powerfully is through the representation of woman.
