Maria Tureanu Dermengiu is an artist based in Romania whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom and Canada. She describes the vibration of color combined with sacred geometry as creating a "more complex vibration". In Dermengiu's art, "layers of meaning" fuse and transform into a new context of visual experience. She creates using acrylics, ink, gilding, and charcoal on canvas.
