Merrilyn Duzy is an accomplished painter and visual artist with a BA from CSUN, an MFA from Otis College, and a richly self-taught background enriched by travel and exploration of diverse mediums, including encaustic, acrylic, oils, watercolor, and mixed media. Her style shifts deftly from realism and representation—often channeling historical and contemporary figures with detailed accuracy—to experimental layering of cosmic imagery, languages, and abstract forms. Through her portraits, erotica, landscapes, and symbol-laden works, she invites viewers to connect deeply with universal themes of womanhood, history, and the mysteries of existence, inspiring genuine personal resonance and reflection.
