Miroslav de la Torre Kozorez (b. 1992, Cuba) is a visual artist trained at the Vicentina de la Torre Academy of Arts (2008–2011) in Camagüey and at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) in Havana, Cuba (2015–2023). His work moves between expressionism, surrealism, and informalism, forming a post-romantic style that shifts between abstraction and figuration.
He explores themes such as solitude, travel, and the fusion of reality and fantasy, often offering subtle social criticism. His works aim to convey deeply emotional, urgent, and personal narratives, using color as a writer uses words: to move and provoke reflection.
