Patrice Goubeau, born in France, discovered his artistic vocation at the age of 21 in André Labarde's studio. Trained at the Arts et Métiers and then at the Beaux-Arts, he developed a unique perspective on light and composition. Since the 1980s, his works, marked by the power of chiaroscuro, have been exhibited in the south of France and acclaimed by critics and collectors. Winner of the Grand Prix du Salon des Artistes Français in 1991, he then traveled for ten years across Europe, Asia, and America, enriching his palette and imagination. Based in Canada, he has exhibited in Montreal, New York, and in numerous collections. Inspired by nature, architecture, and his own experiences, he seeks to capture the moment, reveal light, and transform pain into beauty. His style, somewhere between realism and abstraction, invites contemplation and makes him a major artist of his generation.
