« Creation is an outcome of my repeated simple painting work and it might originate from my accumulated life experiences, unconsciously. »
Shihoko Moritani is a Japanese artist whose paintings have been extensively exhibited on a national level, as well as in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, and France. She describes her artistic process as "doing simple things over and over again". Through this technique, Moritani is grounded in the prayers that are deep within her heart. Her abstract, figurative, and minimalist compositions are created with oils on canvas.
