Established German artist Veronika von Kathen has always been driven to make the world more beautiful and free. Her contemporary portraits are a melange of photo-realism and abstraction, the powerful presence of her subjects juxtaposed to the dissolving shapes and tones which surround them. Though it is the eyes of her sitters which cast a spell over the viewer and return their gaze. Veronika's unique canvases are elegant, timeless and arresting.
