Lisa Schoefer is a painter trained at ENSAD and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris; her preferred media are oil, watercolor, collage, ink, and drawing. She works en plein air, figuratively on large canvases, combining realistic, sometimes abstract elements and complementing cityscapes or figures with various techniques. Her works convey intense, vibrant moments and capture the unique atmosphere of democratic spaces and their distinctive play of light.
