About this artwork
This vibrant painting transports the viewer into a serene, dreamlike world where nature reigns supreme. A small, whimsical house nestled within an explosion of greenery captures the eye, radiating mystery and tranquility. Bold strokes of deep forest greens blend seamlessly with neon blues, purples, and pinks, creating a stunning contrast that draws attention to the house, a symbol of refuge and solitude. Delicate details, such as splashes of red…
and subtle textures in the foliage, add depth and intrigue to this contemporary yet nature-inspired composition.
The painting celebrates the harmony between human life and the natural world while leaving room for personal interpretation, evoking feelings of peace, curiosity, and nostalgia. Its immersive atmosphere makes it a statement piece for any interior space.

Aasiri Wickremage is an artist with Sri Lankan roots, currently living in Surrey, UK. Drawing inspiration from multiple cultures, landscapes and landmarks - particularly those she has come across throughout her many travels, she composes works that highlight the experience of a landscape: mood, character, lighting and density. She zooms in and out of the actual memory of the landscape to construct new stories, seeking to represent both built and natural environments as an interconnected entity. Her paintings have featured in exhibitions and publications in the UK.
