About this artwork
I created Circle of Quiet Rhythm as a digital artwork using a digital pen, line‑art techniques, and layered shades of blue. Even though the strokes carry the sensitivity of hand‑drawn illustration, this piece is fully produced in a digital medium. Any canvas or paper version is a high‑quality print of the original digital file.
In this work, I focused on capturing a moment of shared rhythm. Six figures sit in a gentle arc, each absorbed in the flow… of percussion. By reducing the scene to confident lines and solid fills, I wanted the gestures and emotional presence to speak louder than detail. The simplicity allows the rhythm, posture, and quiet unity of the group to come forward.
This piece is my reflection on togetherness—six individuals connected through one pulse, expressed through the clarity and fluidity of digital line art.

Abdulla Yasir is a multidisciplinary artist working in digital and mixed media, shaped by high‑school fine art training and a lifelong engagement with Maldivian cultural authorship.
