About this artwork
This work was born from an explosion of mixed emotions, where each line and each color embodies the struggle between light and darkness. I wanted to capture the complexity of today's world through symbolic chaos, mixing art brut and oriental influences. This piece brings a vibrant and intense energy, perfect for awakening the senses and nourishing reflection in your space.
This composition is a recycling of the wheel of time. After having made it,… while observing it, I remembered this morning both magical and terrible: that of the day when I saw flakes of pollution. I symbolized the flakes by the white flowers and added black and red tones. Little by little, Fleurs de pollution was born as a cry but also a hope that of my belief in the rebirth of nature and men....Like a cycle of eternity!
Abricodéal Îles uses ink, acrylic, digital collage, and a variety of media made from recycled materials, drawing inspiration from a rich career that blends writing, poetry, and artistic transmission. Her multipolar, instinctive, and prolific technique blends magical pop art, experimentation, engraving, and painting on unexpected materials. She infuses her works with vibrant energy; her feminine portraits, marked by tattoos and talismans, celebrate resilience, femininity, and the magic of the imagination, inviting us on a sensory and poetic journey where art becomes sharing and liberation.
