About this artwork
This painting reflects the vibrant and chaotic energy of my most intense emotions. I used acrylics to capture the movement and explosion of colors that express both joy and madness. I wanted to convey how abstraction can be a pure emotional language, capable of transforming a space with its dynamism and power. I hope it awakens passion and vitality in the viewer.
VAZ (Adolfo Vázquez Burgos, Madrid, 1974) is a Spanish visual artist specializing in gestural abstraction, abstract expressionism, and action painting. From his studio in Cobeja (Toledo), he develops an artistic practice centered on energy, color, and movement as essential elements of his visual language. Her work arises from intuitive processes and direct action on the canvas, combining pours, splashes, drags, and layers of acrylic to create dynamic compositions of great visual intensity. Through spontaneous gestures and a strong chromatic presence, she transforms emotion and physical experience into images open to interpretation. His work has been presented in international competitions and projects such as the Target Prize International Painting Contest (Ateneo de Madrid), Artbox Project Zürich 8.0, Swiss Art Expo Zürich, YICCA International Contest of Contemporary Art and the 41st BMW International Painting Prize.
