About this artwork
This painting emerges from the tension between groundedness and openness, between weight and lightness. Layer upon layer, earthy brown tones form a foundation punctuated by expansive shades of turquoise and blue. The composition opens upwards—like a movement from solid ground into a horizon of air and expanse.
The work reflects my ongoing exploration of duality: the polarity of gravity and flow, matter and atmosphere, earth and sky. Every brushstroke… is a negotiation between these forces—a dialogue between the visible and the concealed, between the superimposed and the exposed.
