About this artwork
In Orizzon, the pictorial surface becomes a territory of transition between the visible and the intangible. The work unfolds a symbolic horizon, where colors are vibrations that evoke inner expansion and the constant search for the infinite.
The chromatic transitions from deep blue to luminous green, from radiant yellow to the incandescent fire of orange and red suggest an emotional journey that oscillates between the calm of the ocean and the scorching… energy of dawn. Each layer seems to breathe, dissolve, and reappear, as if the canvas itself were transformed into a space of memory and projection of the yet-to-be-revealed.
ORIZZON is a threshold, the suspended moment in which light meets shadow and the viewer is invited to cross into an intimate place of introspection. The work invites us to pause, contemplate, and listen to the inner resonance it awakens.

« Inspiration and abstraction go hand in hand in my work. »
Adriana del Carmen Madrigal Valencia is a Colombian artist whose paintings have been extensively exhibited nationally and in Italy. Nature and color in her childhood gave rise to her taste for coloring and drawing her surroundings. For Valencia, everything is based on color, as well as the constant change and evolution of the being over time. She creates in an abstract style and paints using acrylics applied with a spatula. This multi-layered technique brings bold texture to her work.
