About this artwork
That morning I arrived motivated, still carrying the good news about my daughter. I remember the bike leaning against the door, the studio still cool. A small stray dog wandered in and stayed near me without asking anything. I painted with that quiet company, slower than usual, letting the material find its own direction.
In Four Skies, the layers settle one over another like shifting horizons. Nothing is fixed or sharply defined; forms drift and… lean as if suspended in air. The work carries a sense of weight, but not heaviness, more like the slow descending of dusk or clouds gathering without hurry. It invites a calm attention, a space where perception expands and the sky seems to multiply inside itself.
