A jar of water slipped and splashed across the table, and instead of stopping I let it lighten the pace. I arrived with a rush in studio, already charged, working quickly. It set a playful note, as if the studio asked for looseness and a sky that could breathe with joy.
In "Trade Heat", blues spread softly, layered in airy shifts of tone. Light shapes hover and fade, forming brief suggestions that never settle. The painting holds a quiet brightness,… like open sky at rest, where movement is gentle and attention is calm.
