About this artwork
Aelita Andre imaginatively visualises philosophical ideas and renders deeply complex
concepts of theoretical physics in her vibrant, colourful and epic paintings.
In this series Aelita visualises the concept that all matter in the universe - at the deepest level - vibrates as sound, and that our universe is a vast cosmic symphony and that at this deepest subatomic level the vibrating strings of energy act as portals - or doorways - for travel to… other dimensions. In this way the beauty of art and the grandeur of science is perfectly unified and united in her extraordinary works. Each painting exists in its own dimension, acting as its own unique visual representation of this concept.

« I first began to paint professionally from nine months old and my acrylic on canvas paintings were included in my solo exhibition in Australia at the age of two. I want to take abstract art in a totally new direction, especially with my 'sound-painting' series. »
Aelita Andre is an impressive young talent from Australia whose abstract paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions worldwide. A free-spirit interested in cosmology and theoretical physics, Andre began painting even before she could talk or walk, creating kaleidoscopic universes of color. Her unique sound paintings incorporate instruments as part of the canvas, creating a new sensory experience.
