This piece was born from a desire to fuse softness with structure, where acrylic flows freely while embroidery stitches add precise geometric tension. The gentle blues and natural tones evoke calmness, disrupted by vibrant pink threads symbolizing unexpected bursts of energy and life. It’s a playful dance between chaos and order, bringing a serene yet dynamic presence to any space, inviting viewers to explore its layered emotions.
The work is ready… to be hang on the wall. Frame is included.
The painting is signed at the back and certificate of authenticity of the painting is given to the collector.
« You don't need to hear a pompous theory behind the painting from the artist to grasp its meaning. Good work should speak to you directly from the canvas. »
Agnieszka Potocka-Makoś is a prizewinning Polish abstract painter and photographer. She completes her works using acrylic paints applied with spatulas, synthetic brushes and impasto structure media. Her painting crosses many styles, sometimes geometric and industrial as in her Moments series or fluid and soft in her Raw series. Potocka-Makoś feels that artworks do not have to answer to or be contextualized within specific circumstances but rather should be judged by their subjective impact on the viewer.
