About this artwork
In this oil work, I explored the haunting influence of technology in our daily lives. The hands that grip iPhones, passionately painted in fiery reds, bright greens and dark ebony, express our control and our dependence. My vigorous brushstrokes against the sky blue background convey a struggle between connectivity and isolation. This painting boldly questions, encouraging us to reflect on our relationship to the digital devices that color our lives.
