About this artwork
In this oil painting, I imbued the canvas with the spirit of liberation and serenity. Guided by impressionism, I captured a woman submerged in water, her face turned towards a burst of light filtering through. This scene symbolizes breaking free from constraints, visually narrating the euphoria of finding peace and the gentle embrace of one’s own space. Imagine this artwork in your home as a daily reminder of tranquility and personal freedom. Made… in 2020.
Aisylu is a contemporary artist whose artworks are in private collections in USA, Russia and Europe (Greece,Italy, France, Cyprus, Netherlands).
In search of a major life change, Aisylu moved to Greece in 2018 to work as a yacht stewardess. It was during this time at sea that she realized how profoundly the ocean influenced her, inspiring her to return to art and focus on creating oil seascapes. Starting her life from scratch, she learned the Greek language and immersed herself in the local culture.
Currently based in the port city of Piraeus, Greece, Aisylu works as an artist in the neo impressionist style. Her art serves as a reminder of the fluidity of life and the importance of not forgetting to enjoy it.
