About this artwork
This oil painting captures a moment of quiet stillness by the sea. Two small boats rest side by side, gently moored in clear, sunlit water. Their pale hulls reflect softly on the surface, while light dances across the shallows below.
The water becomes the heart of the composition — layered with deep blues, turquoise, and transparent greens, revealing the movement of light and the subtle textures of the seabed. Fluid brushstrokes create a sense of… calm motion, as if the sea is breathing slowly and peacefully.
The painting evokes a feeling of tranquility, warmth, and timeless summer calm — a place where nothing demands attention, and everything feels at ease.
Aisylu is a contemporary artist whose artworks are in private collections in USA, Russia and Europe (Greece,Italy, France, Cyprus, Netherlands). In search of a major life change, Aisylu moved to Greece in 2018 to work as a yacht stewardess. It was during this time at sea that she realized how profoundly the ocean influenced her, inspiring her to return to art and focus on creating oil seascapes. Starting her life from scratch, she learned the Greek language and immersed herself in the local culture. Currently based in the port city of Piraeus, Greece, Aisylu works as an artist in the neo impressionist style. Her art serves as a reminder of the fluidity of life and the importance of not forgetting to enjoy it.
