In this work, I have fused acrylic, collage, spray and salvaged objects to create a powerful vision of the world, held in the hands of humanity. Circular vignettes, like windows into various aspects of our earthly experience, frame the globe, illustrating our influence and responsibility. My father was a decorative painter, he worked on plaster staffs, and seeing him give life and color to simple pieces of plaster always fascinated me.
What aroused my desire to sculpt a piece of marble happened in the 90s, during the Toulon marble sculpture festival.
I started much later, collecting a few abandoned pieces here and there. I then focused on the work of other works, favoring the recovery of different materials or objects.
For me a work must create emotions and I admire many artists who open up in me a new vision of art.
