About this artwork
Painting a flower, a shell or a penis is not important to me, what matters to me is manipulating colors, rendering and revealing the beauty of things, whatever they may be.
Picasso and Matisse were not restricted in their subject matter, and that is also my path. I am a free man and I am accountable to no one! In this work, I explored the depth and complexity of the human condition through the realistic and bold representation of the body. Using… acrylics, I sought to capture the raw intimacy and authenticity of the human experience. This painting celebrates strength and vulnerability, inviting viewers to contemplate the natural and often unspoken beauty of our physical existence. It brings a vibrant presence and deep connection to any living space.

Aldéhy is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Port Villa, the United States, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, and England. His thematic and narrative compositions tell stories like comic strips, narrating a beginning and an end. Aldéhy's diverse compositions are created using acrylics, oils, pastels, charcoal, and India ink on paper, canvas, wood, or synthetic board.
