About this artwork
This polyptych installation reveals different painting pursuits in one comprehensive piece. It consists of seven different canvases of various sizes. I had lots of fun painting them, although I must say some of the canvases chosen for this painting are from when I had a studio in London about 15 years ago. This painting deals with the metaphysical pursuit of knowledge beyond our comprehension. It's way too complicated to try and word it into here… in a few sentences. It has various symbols from art history from one of my favorite kindered souls , of course I am talking about Piero della Francesca. However, some more contemporary influences are visible in this work as well. I believe this piece fuses various styles and pursuits together, although the journey continues and I will never stop searching and learning in the process. We are always beginners.
Alejandro Goldberg, a multifaceted painter, garners his knowledge from prestigious institutions: Jerusalem Studio School, the Art Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria, and the University of Texas. His approach merges the tangible and intangible, blending figurative and abstract techniques to surpass visible boundaries. Enhanced by historical and musical influences, his exploration of the metaphysical and spiritual aspects reveals human rawness and the ceaseless battle between good and evil. Goldberg's work echoes with energy, inciting feelings varying from pleasure to shock, leading the viewer to a richer, thrilling experience.
