About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the chaotic yet vibrant energy we all carry within. I used acrylic and oil pastels to add texture and depth, playing with contrasts and movement. Each stroke expresses pure emotion, seeking to make the viewer feel the pulse of life and the force of creativity overflowing in its space. It is an eternal duel between chaos and harmony.
Artwork created on cotton paper using a mixed float technique and mounted on a… white "Acid-Free" Foam-Core box-shaped base with a natural walnut wood frame protected with plexiglass.

Alejandro Martínez-Peña is a visual artist based in Mexico whose works have been exhibited in the United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Italy, Thailand, South Korea, China, Singapore, Poland, the Sultanate of Oman, Bangladesh, among others. His painting, framed in abstract expressionism, does not represent nature literally, but evokes it through free strokes, organic lines, and vibrant colors. Each work is a sensorial bridge between human beings and the natural environment: a visual echo of rivers, forests, life cycles, and silenced memories of the planet. His intention is to awaken an inner renewal in the viewer, provoke empathy, and activate a dormant conscience. Because only when we feel, we care. His art seeks to make us look at the Earth with different eyes: more attentive, humble, and responsible.
