About this artwork
The largely turquoise-blue painting depicts Lake Constance and the mountains in the background in southern Germany. A sailboat can be seen in front of the mountains on the right. In the foreground, a couple is depicted sitting and paddling in a canoe, enjoying their leisure time together.
The inspiration for this painting comes from a photo I took during a short trip to Lake Constance in May 2022. Original hand-painted painting, painted in April… - May 2025 with acrylics on canvas, signed front and back.
