About this artwork
This painting exhibited in several countries is part of the Collection which will be exhibited in the Hong Art Museum in Chongqing China November 2023-March 2024:
Theme: Woman at the Café du Louvre, Paris, Spring 1999. One rainy morning, I entered the Louvre cafe, which was quite deserted at that hour, and found a very special atmosphere. At the end of the room, an elegant lady was drinking her tea. A large fireplace with two large vases framed… it. I made a sketch of the scene before me, and from there, about 50 paintings were born. I had never met this lady. The specific painting was born from a sketch made in the spring of 1999, started in June 2001 in Nuglar, Switzerland, and finished in July 2001. Stolen in Italy, April 2026.
On this work it is possible to perform 3 unique evolutions, measurements defined by the Client. Price to be agreed.

Alessandro Cardamone – Color as Destiny
The Artistic Works of Alessandro Cardamone to explore the complexity of identity and perception, merging body and space into a simultaneous and fragmented vision. The influence of Pablo Picasso is evident, but the style carries a more personal and contemporary touch, softening the austerity of original Cubism with more playful colors and softer forms.”
An award-winning artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, Spain, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Additionally, his art has been featured in publications such as La Alsace, La Stampa, Il Monferrato, Il Piccolo, Bis Bank Magazine, La Stampa, La Nuova Periferia, La Sesia, La Nuova, La Voce, Piemonte News, La Voce, Il Corriere, Notizie Oggi, etc. Each work is an invitation to stillness, a gentle song that passes through the canvas and settles in the viewer's heart.
