About this artwork
This refined portrait celebrates the figure of the Chinese Empress Wu Zetian, a woman of extraordinary intelligence and power who marked the history of China. The work, made on paper with a combination of acrylic and charcoal, is distinguished by the addition of gold powder details, which give brightness and depth to the composition, enhancing the regality of the protagonist.
Framed in a gold vintage frame, the painting acquires a timeless elegance,… perfect for environments that require a touch of sophisticated beauty. Thanks to its small size, it is ideal for decorating small spaces, such as the entrance of a house, a private study or an office, creating a focal point of great visual impact.
A work that combines history, art and majesty, capable of evoking the strength and refinement of one of the most fascinating sovereigns of imperial China.
