Acrylic painting and epoxy resin on OSB table (mix media)
This artwork is made on an OSB (Oriented Strand Board) wooden board on which I applied layers of acrylics and resin leaving the wooden slats that make up the board clearly visible.
This painting captures an intimate and delicate moment between two women kissing, expressed through a material and textured painting style. The faces, almost… fused into each other, are rendered with soft and nuanced brush strokes, which create a sense of dreaminess and evanescence. The colors, predominantly in shades of pink, blue and white, blend harmoniously, contributing to the creation of a soft and romantic atmosphere.
The surface of the painting has ripples and cracks that add depth and visual interest, giving the work an almost sculptural appearance. The attention is focused on the faces and the gesture of the kiss, leaving the background undefined and abstract.

Alessio Mazzarulli transforms everyday materials into a reflection on time and perception.
After his debut in clay modeling, he transferred his three-dimensional sensitivity to material painting, where relief and tactility become central.
He uses fragments of recycled paper, rescuing traces of everyday life from oblivion, and with acrylics and resins he “freezes” time in deliberately distorted images, composed of fragmentary elements that invite an overall vision.
In the “Dot Art” series, he uses small wooden discs to explore the voids of memory: the spaces between the elements evoke what is lost and push the observer to reconstruct the image, creating a dialogue between reality and perception in which time is experienced through erosion and visual recomposition.
